Saturday daytime and Sunday post brunch would be great times to venture out to see more of the Berkshires. Here are a few favorite suggestions that are less than 20 minutes from our home base in Lenox:

  • Hiking - Laurel Hill, Olivia’s Overlook

  • Naumkeag garden

• MUSEUMS & HISTORICAL SPOTS (all with outdoor space too):

  • The Mount, Edith Wharton’s home

  • Hancock Shaker Village

  • Norman Rockwell Museum

  • Arrowhead, Herman Melville’s home

A little farther afield are the amazing museums in the northern corner of the county - Mass MoCA in North Adams and the Clark in Williamstown. These are well worth a trip - please note that they are about 45-60 minutes’ drive from Lenox, so plan accordingly if you head up this way.
